Ingredients:
- 4 salmon fillets (skin-on or skinless)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 tbsp soy sauce (low-sodium preferred)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp paprika (optional, for extra flavor)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) if baking the salmon.
- Season the salmon fillets with salt, pepper, and paprika (if using).
- Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Sear the salmon fillets for 2-3 minutes on each side, starting with the skin side down. Remove the salmon from the pan and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in honey, soy sauce, and lemon juice. Let the sauce simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return the salmon to the skillet, spooning the glaze over the fillets.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 6-8 minutes or until the salmon is fully cooked and flaky.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately with steamed rice, roasted vegetables, or a fresh salad.
Cooking Tip: Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey according to your taste.
Serving Suggestion: Pair this dish with jasmine rice and a side of roasted asparagus for a complete meal.
