Here’s a simple recipe for Air Fryer Fish:

Ingredients:

  • 4 fish fillets (tilapia, cod, or your choice of white fish)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (or cooking spray)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Fish: Pat the fish fillets dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
  2. Make the Coating:
    • In a shallow bowl, combine flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
    • In a second shallow bowl, beat the egg.
    • In a third shallow bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
  3. Coat the Fish:
    • Dip each fish fillet into the flour mixture, ensuring it is coated evenly.
    • Then dip the fillet into the beaten egg, and finally coat it with breadcrumbs.
  4. Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Cook the Fish:
    • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil or use a brush to coat it.
    • Place the coated fish fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
    • Air fry the fish at 400°F for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the fish is golden brown and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Serve: Remove the fish from the air fryer and serve with lemon wedges, tartar sauce, or your favorite dipping sauce.
